Job Overview:
Coordinates and assists with the marketing activities related to Hygiena’s business. This includes advertising, direct mailing, printing, writing copy, project management, customer events, and trade shows. Requires a bachelor's degree in business or advertising marketing or related studies. Preferred 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the marketing manager to complete marketing initiatives that support sales goals and customer service needs. This includes running Hygiena’s direct mailing campaigns, enewsletters, coordinating marketing campaigns with sales conferences and territory visits.
- Managing changes and project managing new granules for the Hygiena and MPC web site.

PRODUCTION MANAGER

Job Overview:
The Production Supervisor will perform all functions to assure timely, quality production of Hygiena’s products. These functions include:
- Production Planning with regard to:
1. Sales Order requirements

- Coordination with the following Departments:
1. Sales and Marketing

Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Order Production Planning:
1. Continual review, analysis and monitoring of:
Sales orders (Actual orders received by Hygiena), sales trends, customer forecasts and planning reports
2. Continual review of inventory levels of finished goods and raw material components
3. Create Production Schedule to meet order demand and guarantee adequate
inventory of finished goods at all times.
- Equipment Requirement Planning:
— Assure clear communication with the Mechanical Department as to the
Production Schedule to guarantee machine readiness and correct number
of mechanics/trained personnel are available to meet the schedule in
terms of set-ups, production oversight, and job changeovers.
— Monitor equipment efficiency by daily evaluation of production output and communicate problems to the Engineering/Mechanics Department and Quality Control Department.
- Personnel Requirement Planning:
— Maintain the number of production assembly personnel at a level to
enable the efficient manufacturing of products at a specified quality level. This will include the hiring and terminating of full-time employees and temporary employees contracted from employment agencies.
— Schedule operational hours to meet the production requirements with the intent of minimizing overtime hours and the corresponding increased cost. Monitor all actual overtime hours, in addition to approving and disallowing hours input into the ADP Pay eXpert System.
— Maintain and input daily Scheduling Report which identifies authorized O.T. production and which personnel were involved.
- Train all personnel working in the Production Department in the following areas:
— Product knowledge
— Product handling
— Protective clothing and storage requirements
— Quality control test protocols and frequency schedules
— Machine operator safety
— MSDS information and location of MSDS Notebooks
— Building facility safety
- Training must be documented per the specifications of the Quality Assurance Procedures (QAP) and documentation must be maintained in the proper files. Safety training must be reviewed annually and documentation must always be current.
- Identify and train personnel with exceptional skills, solid attendance records and potential for present and future selection of lead assembly positions. This includes implementing a continuous back-up training program wherein “understudy” lead personnel can receive intermittent work experience to maintain skill levels.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control Department to assure that the required inspectors are scheduled to cover all production hours.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance personnel to assure that all personnel are trained in MSDS knowledge and procedures. This includes temporary personnel, as well as permanent active employees. Temporary personnel must receive initial MSDS instruction prior to beginning work. All training must be documented and kept on file.
- Direct reports include Staging Assistant and all assembly production personnel.
- Raw Material Component Requirement Planning:
— Continually monitor and evaluate inventory levels of finished products to
assure sales order requirements will be met and orders will ship in a timely manner.
— Continually monitor and evaluate inventory levels of raw materials, component parts, and sub-assemblies to assure production can occur as an organized, systematic operation.
— Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to guarantee ordering and delivery of all necessary component parts.
— Schedule all sterilization procedures with contract facility and coordinate with Purchasing and Shipping Departments to guarantee efficient processing and correct billing.
— Coordinate scheduling of preparation and test periods of all necessary reagents, buffers, and other liquid solutions with Chemistry Department.
- Additional Operational Responsibilities:
— Input all daily production numbers into the Navision System promptly.
— Input all product quantities (finished products or sub-assemblies) and lot numbers into the Navision system immediately upon completion of a production run in order to facilitate inventory tracking, shipping and posting of all invoices.
— Coordinate with Quality Control on a continual basis to analyze product rejects resulting from mechanical operations.
— Manage time and personnel resources efficiently.

Customer Service Representative

Job Overview:
The Customer Service Representative will interface with Hygiena customers, the Accounting, Sales and Manufacturing departments. The scope of this job entails processing orders, learning Hygiena products to speak knowledgably to customers, managing instrument repair program and ensuring the customer quality assistance. Exceptional Customer Service reps will have an opportunity to develop sales skills. Previous exceptional customer service representatives have moved up to Account Managers and work directly with a Sales Manager.
Hygiena is looking for an individual who maintains customer satisfaction and achieves customer service objectives. Potential candidates must have excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Good organization/planning and writing skills are necessary as well. This is a mandatory one year position before being eligible for movement into an account manager position. Only outstanding Customer Service Representatives will be moved to an Account Manager position in the Sales group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assure correct processing of all orders for Hygiena.
- Invoicing customer and auditing invoices to make sure everything is correct.
- Communicate all technical or quality issues to necessary parties.
- Fulfilling customers' requests via e-mail or phone. Requests will include pricing, shipping, item descriptions, order status, etc...
