The Hygiena SystemSURE Plus gives a numerical reading that relates directly to how clean a surface is. No longer reliant on visual inspection alone, Domestic and Hotel Services Departments are now able to prove, in just 15 seconds, that they have cleaned effectively by using the simple 3 step Hygiena SystemSURE Plus ATP Monitoring system.
The palm sized SystemSURE Plus device works by detecting levels of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP), a biochemical found in all living organisms and biological residues. If ATP is detected on a cleaned surface it means the cleaning was not effective and the surface is a potential hazard.
The ATP method is quick, simple and easy to do. A swab is taken of the area to be tested using a sampling device, which is then inserted into the hand held instrument. The result is shown as a number and can be displayed as a simple pass, caution or fail display.
